A Lifetime of Service and Achievement

Over 21 years as a Soldier, Stephen earned the Ranger Tab, Master Parachutist Badge, and a Bronze Star for heroism in ground combat. He completed a Fellowship in the United States Senate and served as a liaison between senior Department of Defense leaders and Congress. He holds Masters Degrees from Stanford University and the University of Colorado

Internet Executive

Stephen spent nearly ten years as a Vice President and Senior Vice President with Overstock.com. In this capacity, he managed the company logistics function as well as its human resources and international business units.

Since resigning from his executive responsibilities, Stephen has published four books addressing the challenges and opportunities that information technology presents for the American Republic. During this period, Stephen has gained experience of different facets of the economy while working as a Linux engineer, a secondary school teacher, and a courier. He currently works as a dangerous goods inspector for a major parcel delivery company.

Accountability

I will develop priorities in consultation with the voters of AD15, and I will be accountable to achieving the outcomes aligned with those priorities.

Affordabililty

I will strive to improve the real affordability of healthcare, groceries and other essentials.

Accessibility

I will hold meetings (at least) monthly to allow voters to voice their priorities and concerns directly to me.
